Just wanted to stop in and say Hi ! Also....I'm still out there letting everyone know what a Comp T/A is. I just took part in the World of Wheels car show at the McCormick place in Chicago with the local f-body club, the MFBA - Midwest F-Body Association. We had 12 cars represent the club and everyone took a trophy! Out of the 12 cars, there were 2 that took first place in their respective classes. A 2001 Camaro Z28 took first in it's class.....and a 1995 Comp T/A took first in its class. I was really surprised to win such an award at a highly respected and advertised show. There were plenty of cars there and you could easily spend 3 hours looking at all of them - not a spot left on the floor! On my sign board I was sure to acknowledge the CTAOA and let all those that were curious just who we are.Great show and a great way to create awareness of how special our cars really are!....on a side note - those 8 coats of Zaino might have had something to do with it!! way 2 go bob!! these cars can "catch the eye" for sure.
i had a judge tell me he could not look at my car without sunglasses on... 130+ coats of zaino since 1998 might have summin 2 do wit dat.. LOL
