The inner piece directly above the drivers side window has pretty much come unscrewed. It is held in place by three screws, two of them have come undone. Without removing the weatherstripping, is there anyway to fix this? I thought about temporarily using fishing line to tie it up there, but not sure on that yet.
The weather stripping can easily be pulled out ...exposing the screws that hold the weatherstripping channel in place. If you remove the channel you'll be able to get at the screws you're talking about. It takes a little bit of effort to get the weatherstripping back in, and there seems to be some random adhesive on it that should be replaced, but the job looks doable.
I had the roof 1/2 way up while I was looking at it ..seems to be an easy angle to work at, and parts shouldn't fall anywhere you can't retreive them.

I made out like a bandit. $1.35 for a bag of 50 zip ties from the local hardware store. I pulled the screws out of the channel using a Leatherman. I had to drill a hole into the piece of plastic that held the screw. I wrapped the zip tie through the plastic, and back through the piece. I ended up doing 2 of the 3 holes to make sure it holds well. It almost lines up perfectly, and holds pretty well for a cheap fix. I did notice that the third screw is coming loose <how?> so I will probably end up doing all three over again later on.
Dremel tool came in REALLY handy today. Very glad I bought one. I highly recommend them.
