Do you guys remove your spare tire to ditch some of that extra weight we have ?

Weight is not a biggie for me. Don't race my SS. Besides, would hate to be stuck in no-mans-land with a flat and no spare.
With an LT1/LS1 engine, I really doubt you would notice any difference anyways...

Nope! But I do remove most everything that's not bolted in for the dragstrip and autocross.

I don't race mine either...therefore I don't remove it. But I have seen a couple of people take theirs out. I am not sure if it really helps that much.
