Welcome ... and enjoy!!

The Camaro consistently gets rated as one of the best top down highway cruisers ... and we have over 20,000 top down highway miles behind us in less than 2 years ... with absolutely no regrets.

P.S. I just ordered a K& N filter through Afterthought, (my first Mod!) What is a whisper lid and where can I get one? Seems to be a poular add!

The whisper lid basically replaces the stock lid over your filter. It also eliminates the plastic baffles that surround the stock lid as well. It is supposed to allow air to flow in better than the stock one. I ordered mine from TByrne Motorsports. Here's a link: http://www.tbyrnemotorsports.com/

Most any f-body performance place will have them. SLP also has their own that you can get. FYI - when you put on a whisper lid, you have to get a little breather filter (I bought a K&N breather filter) to use on the hose for the air pump since you'd be removing those baffles that the air pump normally uses.

Im waiting to hear back from another member to place an order for Caliper covers (Camaro signage)kinda like Prembko calipers and SS center caps also. I havent made my first payment on this baby yet, so i have to stay in control of the spending a little!

My "Bone-Stock" stats for 98 WS6 were:
13.254 / 105

My Stats with mods are:
12.89 / 110.?? / 2.01

Times are in my sig

2001 WS6 RagTop A4 weighs 3600 (actual wght)
1998 WS6 RagTop M6 weighs 3660 (Ford Rearend)

I don't know the wght difference between the A4 and the M6, but the Ford 9-inch rearend is considerably heavier than the stock unit. That's why the 98 M6 is weighing 60 lbs more than the y2k1..
