... unmounted tires into your ragtop with the roof down and not using the passenger seat for one?
I need to pick 4 up 9 hours away and would really prefer to make the trip with the car!!

I dunno poSSum, never tried tires since I still have the original F1's. I did make a short trip the other day with a basketball backboard and hoop and the mounting bracket, including a custom "break away" frame that I made for it in the back seat of my car. I sure noticed how the things sticking up in the back catch the wind and push it into the front seats.
I don't know if you could fit 4 in the backseat. Our tires are prety beefy but it might be fun to try. Maybe put the car on jacks and see if you can get all the wheels stacked in there?

Thanks ...
I've got the mounted F1's that I can try ... I'm rolling on the R1's right now. I'm picking up just tires ... guess I'll pull out the backseat and see what happens. I know the trunk won't close over a mounted tire.

They fit
3 where the back seat is supposed to be: 1 just fits the trunk ... height is the issue.
