I got my new BMR SFC installed. They are great. But, all of a sudden, sometimes when I hit a bump just right with the left rear wheel, I get a really nasty rattle. It doesn't happen all of the time, I can hit some hard bumps and it doesn't happen at all. But if I hit one that only affects the left rear wheel (like a pot-hole), then it happens. Any ideas? I haven't figured out for sure where it's comeing from, but it sounds like it's in the left rear quarter panel. I'm going to put the car up on the stands tonight and climb under it for a while to see if I can see anything banging around under there...

Are the lower control arms bolted tighty??
Should be torqued to 74 lbs. A little trick getting a torque rench in there!
My only other thought is the spare tire, but that is on the pass side.

Yup, that was it. The left LCA wasn't bolted on quite as tight as it should have been. Speaking of LCAs, how do you like those new BMR ones you got so far? I have been thinking about getting some too.

Hey Doug!
I like the BMR LCA's easy to install, look good and are stiffer than stock. I would highly recommend the relocation brackets at the same time since your SS is lowered.
Great meeitng you at Bowling Green.

Hey Andy - same here... It was a lot of fun. I'll see you guys there next year, and I'll be ready for you on the go-kart track. By the way, what happened to you guys? I stayed there with Art and co. and closed the place down... Posted by Xsta Z 28 (Member # 740) on :
Mark and I are a couple of old farts and got tired and sore - Dennis and Scott REALLY beat up on me the last two races - OW - and went back to the hotel.
