I am trying to decide on shocks for my 02 Z28 Convertible (don't actually have the car yet). I will probably run Eibach pro-kit and am trying to decide whether I should get the softer SLP Bilsteins or the standard Bilsteins. I have SLP Bilsteins on my 95 Z28 Coupe with Eibach pros and I like the setup pretty well. What do you guys think? Anyone have experience with these? Ride quality is secondary to handling but if the ride is TOO harsh with the stiffer shocks I will probably go with the SLP Bilstein.

Thanks!

I went with HALs. They adjust to nicely match my Suspension Techniques springs. those springs have fairly stiff linear rates, needed for the amount I dropped the car.

My fear was buying shocks that either were not enough for the springs, or went the other way and punished the chassis (and me!). I'm happy with 'em. Adjustable Bilsteins looked nice, but too much $$ and a hassle to buy them and ship them to get them converted, then shipped to Canada.
