Got my new car 7th, came in with a cracked front fender. Dealer will fix ASAP! Went on roadtrip that day and auburn rear end started to howl at 200 mi. Back to deal on Monday--they said backlash set up wrong-we will see. Not mad just dissippointed. I love that CME; it sounds better that my 67 ss 396 chevell I owned over 30 years ago. Got my STB on already; next will be SFC by Kennny Brown. Got 24 mpg on first tank of gas. This is still one fine piece of machinery.

Keep in mind that an important part of break-in is the rear end. Rear specialists say not to put more than 10 to 15 miles at a clip on the rear until you reach about 100 miles. I know that's a bit extreme but they say the heat build up on a new rear requires it.

Finally got some pics. When I got the car the auburn was howling. Finally got it fixed and cracked fender fixed. Just have 860 miles, too busy during the holidays and working. This car is not my main ride, got as new 2002 LTZ Trailblazer and it is so fine also. I will see if I can figure out how to put some pics on. I have a web page
