...and boy was it worth it.

Highway passing is much improved and lots more pull throughout the whole RPM range.

Drivability didn't change much at all, I actually like it a little loose at the bottom. Makes revving other cars a lot easier !

I can't wait to get it to the track, but I'm hoping to knock off at least .3 for my first 12 second time slip !

Anyways, just thought I'd post a little something since it's working out so well.

Happy driving,
BadAss30th

If you only get .3 Mike's going to demand his converter back until you learn to drive.

Glad you're enjoying it

Well, didn't hit 12's on Saturday like I was hoping for. No question about it, it's not the converter's fault - I need slicks now more than ever !

Did cut my first sub 2.0 60' on Nittos, two in a row. That felt pretty good. The Y3000 really helped with oomph off the line but roasts the Nittos even harder (I already had traction problems, heh). I was down about 1 mph too - maybe the new converter or different environmental conditions. Made the first pass with the stock MAF.

.748 RT (heh)
1.921 60' (best)
5.480 330'
8.430 1/8 ET (best)
83.92 1/8 MPH
13.156 1/4 ET (best)
103.87 1/4 MPH

Swapped to the home ported and polished MAF and MAFT combo (preset to +10/+4) and made another pass :

.546 RT
1.975 60'
5.544 330'
8.504 1/8 ET
83.14 1/8 MPH
13.234 1/4 ET
103.51 1/4 MPH

I'm pretty sure swapping the MAF without any relearn didn't help me much, but I was hoping that was why I was running slower... Overall I'm pretty happy but I think I'll need real slicks to get that first 12 sec time slip. Mike can't have his converter back either !

I'm really happy with it overall, just need to get some slicks and possibly some suspension components (all stock). The power is definately there.

Peace,
BadAss30th
