I'm not sure how many were made, but I remember a post on LS1.com a few years ago from someone who saw about 30 of them all sitting on a dealer's lot around Indy. Not sure if they were all verts or not. There were at least 3 verts sold here in the Fort.

The current issue of "Camaro World" the member magazine of the Worldwide Camaro Association has a feature article on those. Hunt it down or join up and get the issue.

Nice ride! I am partial to Brickyards! I think there were 50 or so like yours built! Posted by Steve da Wrench (Member # 1301) on 06 February, 2002 10:07 AM:
Nice ride......I too am partial to the brickyard cars. Love the white and the striping, just a good color combination. Howard would be the one to help you, hopefully Doug Harden of CICC will read this and contact him to let you know. Hope to see you at Bowling Green with your new car. And welcome to the board! Thanks for the compliments! Bowling Green KY would be a fun drive from Austin TX.

As stated earlier, page Doug Harden over on the SSOA General Discussion Forum and ask him to hook you up with Howard. He has access to the Brickyard info.

Whats the last 5 digits of your VIN?
I belive they were the first 60 cars off the line. All number sequentially: 00001 00002 00003 ... 00060
Posted by 99Brick400 (Member # 1370) on 08 February, 2002 08:42 AM:
It is nowhere near those numbers. Oh well, I emailed Howard to get more info.

Howard can get you the info....I have it but I am in Florida until the 18th....and the files are in my office. The '99 cars were built late in the year...and there were a couple of them with V6 engines (we had a promotion with Lowes and I shipped a couple of those cars to Indy....so the sequence numbers are not low. The only ones with low numbers (to my recollection) were the '97s and the 2002s....

Have patience, Howard is a busy guy.
You have received a personal answer from the Fbodfather....a very special honor! If you can wait for him to get back from his "assignment" in Florida (must be nice to be at Speed Week)....I'm sure he'll be able to help you find your Brickyard #.

Thanks alot guys for the help, I am eagerly awaiting news of my car's history. I am sure any info you guys bring me will be much more than I expected.
Sorry about sounding like an impatient youth, I am slowly outgrowing it.
