Does anyone know what the widest wheel/tire combo that will fit on a 96 convert, Z28??? 15X10??

I have 11x17 with 315x35 tires - I think the biggest tire withour major body mods is 335

I have 11*17 with the 315 but I'm 99% sure that 335 will not fit without SERIOUS modifications around the fender lip.
It Looks REALLY cool though. I think they have them on the ZL1 Camaro show car

LG motersports offers 335 as an extra option on the '98+ zr28 package. - You'd have to call to see if this fits on a '96. As well depends on the spring strength, and if the car is lowered.
Anyway 315's fit for sure, using a stock height tire.
I actually was more wondering along the lines of a drag tire. Like 15x10" wheels with a 12" slick: will it fit?? Posted by Rickerbucks (Member # 1208) on :
I just went through this. there is no 15x10 rim that does not require some modifications.
I bought some 15X10 Weld Prostar with the 7.5 inch back spacing. I'm told that I will have to grind done the rear calipers which I'm prepared to accept.
I have 11.5 x 26 x 15 ET's going on them
