So... Who wants to send this seller the first email?

That's a pretty rare airbag.

Some people just aren't with it, yet they try to act like they know what they are talking about! A '93 convertible? I want the car! Its the only one made! And, its funny how that airbag fits 90-93, not 93-96 or so, or 90-92! I guess they should learn the generation dates before thinking they know what they are doing. Just my opinion.

Actually, from what I know, the 93 Fbody retrofitted a lot of parts from the 90-92. Hence, the only gen 4 Fbody to have speed density, instead of MAF. And a removeable chip, just like the 90-92. The gearbox for the 93 was different than the 94+ too. There are a whole bunch of things about the 93 that is inconsitant from the rest of gen 4's, and some of them are indeed retrofit to late gen 3's.

Not totally sure on the airbag though

The ecm on a 90-92 is under the dash, and the 93 & up is in the engine compartment, and a totally different part. The 93 gearbox is the T-56(same as newer cars), just had some different gear ratios and internal parts, etc.
So its appears to have the same parts, but they are not the same. I am not positive on the air bag, but I am assuming its different also.

I wouldn't doubt the ECM is in a completely different location, since it is a completely re-designed body style. But that doesnt mean its not the same hardware (with different programming of course). And I also know that the T-56 was completely different than the 92 tranny... but I was clarifying that the 93- and you'll have to agree- is all too often the 'acception to the rule' on the gen4 fbods. I think even the wheels were different (offsets maybe?) on the 93, as well as caliper/rotor sizes.

Ha.. I think GM was completely confused in 93'

And this guy is COMPLETELY confused with the convertible 93', thats for sure. Maybe it was a typo, and he mean 92. Who knows.

In the F-body, yeah occationally. But thats what EVERY model year looked like. They ALL have revisions and improvements all the way up to 97. There isn't a year that passed that GM didn't tweak something. '93's differnet in a few things from the later years, but so is the '94, the '95 and even the '96. Truth be told, there was almost no change between the '92 and '93 LT1.

nope, same wheel sizing as all 1993 to 2002 F-bodies wheels, and 1993-1997 brakes.

And that Airbag in the pic is NOT from a 93.
