I want to dynamat my trunk and my one big thing that I know causes a lot of rattling with the subs is the trunk lid. Can I separate the plastic piece anyway to dynamat under there or is that not poss? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't think so, I think the 2 halves are glued together. Maybe try some spray-in foam? (be careful w/ the expanding kind )

Asked the same thing a lil while back... still havent gotten it apart. I ended up dynamatting just the underside of the trunk lid for now, going to put another layer on soon. Taking out my spare tire/jack soon, as it seems to resonate from there. If you find something that helps it let me know... 2 12" JL W3's btw... jla 500/1
