Over the last 8 months I have tried and tried to get a roll bar from them that even came close to fitting in my car . The first bar was actually sent out as a coupe bar , try #2 the main hoop was to narrow by alot , try #3 the main hoop is way to wide to even fit in the car . After going thru all this and dealing with the shop manager and various cars they have determained at some point GM did change the floor pan area behind the door just in front of the rear seats ( this is where wolfe wants the main hoop to sit ) The newer cars from at least 99 to present the floor pan area is narrower from side to side . I say 99 because they have dealt with a 99 and they built their jig off a 2001 SS . He said they had no knowledge of the earlier cars . How much truth is there to that , I dont friggen know ...but , this is the statement the shop manager left me reguarding my roll bar , " your gonna have to make what ya got work because apparently we dont have roll bar for your year car " . He went on to say how now they need to get an older model car in there and build a new Jig .
This is just a head up for everyone , buyer beware . I paid $390 w/ shipping for a pre-notched and fit weld in 6 point , plus an additional $130 out of my pocket for return shipping charges and I'm left with some thing thats gonna take alot of work to make fit in my car ......what a friggen joke .

The F-bodfather stated that thru the years the 4th Gen Camaros actually had gotten wider from the worn stamping dies. This may be a part of your concern.
