what piece do you put in 1st,which direction<<<>>>> does the middle piece go agianst velcro or is it last?? can't seem to ever get in right.. I know it has pics... of driver and pass.. so do they go in frt of pic. or behind , like fileing?

well the pieces go in the pocket that the corresponding pic is in... and they go in turned the same way as they are in the pic. Try putting in one end of the piece first, then the other. It takes a litte practice, but they will fit in there.

They are a bit of a pain.
As SuperSport said ... like the picture shows. I normally put the center section in first. For the side covers I put the "fat end in first, and rotate the "front " into the bag.
With some practice and experimenting you'll figure out what works best for you. Posted by 2002Z4CSS (Member # 1393) on :
With practice these are very easy to remove and put back in the bad. I can put the tonneau back in the bag in less than 2 minutes. At first I hated to use them.Follow the little ink stamped diagram inside the bag, starting with the center section 1st.

I find it very easy to use on my 97 but very difficult on my 2002 due to it having the 12 disc CD changer in the trunk... Does yours get in the way as well?

Since Steve da Wrench did the CD Changer relocation mod to ours, the bag fits just fine now.

Where did he relocate it to? There's not much room in there . . . Posted by HTWLSS (Member # 117) on :
He rotated it so it loads from the top.
