I bought a cheap car cover to throw over my car while it's in my buddy's garage over the winter. I'm just wondering if this thing can cause any damage to the ragtop.

You didn't mention what color your top is, but as long as the cover is clean, soft and not blowing in the wind, I don't see what damage it can do. Make sure it's not a cheaply dyed cover....you don't want it to bleed color on your car if it has unstable dye and gets wet.

I have a black roof, the cover is blue. The cover wont be moved once it's put on. The car will just sit in the garage. Thanks for the quick reply!
