Hey Guys,

Can someone tell me where the convertible top activator switch is located on LT1 Camaros?

Can someone take a picture of it?

It's located in the same place as LS1 f-bods, on the console above the shifter, below the A/C controls, next to the ASR (traction control) switch. The little plastic panel that holds the ASR switch also holds the top switch.

mmm... my ASR switch is on the dash, next to the plaque and the fog light switch.

The convertible top switch is below the heater controls, in front of the shifter, in the front of the console on all f body cars.

The confusion you are having is that Camaro ASR switch is above the radio on the dash, along with the foglight switch, while the pontiac styling optioned cars have the ASR switch next to the power top switch at the front of the console.

The top switch on my 97 is in the location described by JohnnyB. I have a "blank" where SuperSport said the ASR switch is. I don't have ASR.
I've seen a pict. on camaroZ28.com, I think in the appearence sect. Do a search.
