I just picked up a set of used (never installed) BMR weld in SFC's for my vert. Are they supposed to come with any extra hardware, like a new nut and bolt for the LCA's? All I recieved was the 2 connectors.
I'm really excited to start diving into the suspension work! I hope to have them on by the end of the week [Big Grin]

I don't have BMR's, I have the KB's but mine came only with the SFC, no hardware. You use the original LCA bolts and weld the other spots.

Since they are used, how do the weld spots look? Were they cut off with a cutting wheel?

Good luck on the install and you will definitely notice the difference!

Mine came with new longer bolts. Now did the shop use the new or old bolts? I dunno.

mhayman, they were never installed on a car before. Basically, someone bought them.. opened them.. trial fit them (losing the longer LCA bolts in the process) and then sold them to me. They're white so I got a very good deal on them. Most people want them to match their car, but I have a friend who works at a powdercoating shop and shes changing the color for me for free [Smile]
Im now in the process of finding how much longer the LCA bolts should be so I can try and locate some locally and not have to order some from BMR and delay my install.. hopefully I can reuse the stockers heheh

I make Subframe connectors and with most you can reuse the the LCA bolts.
At least you know they're the correct grade (10.9)
The best subframe connectors require longer bolts because there is a bracket on both sides of the LCA to Body attachment point.
In my opinion if they give you new bolts use 'em
