I'm planning to put a dynomax super turbo on a 2001 V6 camaro convertible with the SLP dual dual tips. I'm missing the tailpiping. Approximately how long should it be? I want it pretty visible or at least like the stock length on a SS. Or should I just go to the muffler shop and see what they got? Thanks.

To me, this is one of those personal preference things. The OE SLP dual dual tucks up under the bumper pretty well. The tips end underneath the bumper and don't stick out at all. I don't necessarily like it that short. The Loudmouth on the other hand is longer. When I installed mine I had to cut the ends of the exit pipes an inch or so because they stuck out too far in my opinion. Sorry I don't have pics up. [Frown]

Like I said, it's all personal preference. I would go to the shop and see how the tips look on the car and adjust to how you like them.

OK, now i have another question. My stock setup is the single outlet muffler. I would need an additional hanger for the second pipe on my new setup correct? I assume the muffler shop would drill in the right place, but is there any parts I should warn them about? Thanks.

I think you will need just the actual hanger metal piece - the rubber mount should be there, or at least I would think it would be. Crawl under and take a look...this has me curious now. I know when I put on my Loudmouth that there is a hanger mount that isn't being used from the stock exhaust.
