I'm looking for some help with a cam install over here on the West side. I would really like to get hooked up with someone at a dealer, in otherwords, someone SHARP with necessary tools [Big Grin] that is willing to do this on the side. Car will be torn down and ready [Wink] .

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA,
Brent

Brent, I wished I knew someone who worked in a Chevy dealer that had access to the special tools. I have tons of tools but no special ones for the LS1 engine. [Smile]

I know you'd help if you could Greg, thanks. I've got plenty of tools too, but I'd sleep better at night knowing someone who knew what they were doing had their hands on it. I'll keep lookin' [Cool] .

You need 1/4 inch rods to slide in to keep the lifters up when you yank the cam. Also you would need the spring compressor.
