creeping up on half way ................. hope you all have a great day
The picture of the day .............. a few of the old time racers had an exquisite sense of humor ........... they could laugh at themselves better than laughing at other people .................... enter Don Cook ............. a northerner who named his beautiful line of funny cars after, as he put it, his "most endearing quality" ...................... Hardly feels like it should be the hump. Left early on Monday to treat a cold that was starting ....pleased to advise the the old-fashioned "hot toddy fueled sweat-out" cure seems to have worked and yesterday was was a stat (the strictest in Manitoba) to observe Remembrance Day.
Y'all have a great day, eh

Howdy all. Foggy here too this morning. Supposed to be a decent day, though.

I woke up with a heck of a headache this a.m....slept a couple more hours, but the headache was still there, so I finally decided to try a Vicodin (funny how it didn't do anything for pain after my nasal surgery, but definitely kicked my migraine). That did the trick. It took the edge off enough so I could think, function, and get some work done. Dishes are clean, I made a chicken pot pie for dinner, mailed SSOA member packets, and our front yard is now re-seeded and raked.... Hopefully this next week of nice weather will let the seeds germinate and keep the bare ground/dirt from washing away when the big rains start in a couple of months.
Now, I have to get back to work and get a bunch of stuff mailed at work. SSee ya!
