Dave and I were presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity!!!

We can purchase a 1967 Camaro, a 1979 Camaro Z28, AND a 1982 Camaro Z28 for $2600!!!!

The 67 is completely stripped and about 90% all there. This would definately be a long term project.

The 79 Z is in really good condition, interior and exterior, just a couple of little things to take care of. Just needs a motor and tranny then it's ready to roll.

The 82 Z28 is a complete car and shouldn't take too much to get on the road.

If we purchase these...we will have a representative of every generation! We are so excited about this and trying to get it to all work out. Should know within the next couple of days. It's gonna be a LOT of work, but it is something that we have been wanting to do for a long time!! Just don't know how hard it is gonna be to keep modding the SS's with all these old timers around....

So....should we or shouldn't we?? Would you jump at the same opportunity? 79 Z28 67 Camaro

I don't have a pic of the 82 at this time.

Can't see the picture of the 1979, but the 1967 looks to be a good project car. It even has a Pontiac deck lid on it. [Smile] For the money, I can't see a bad deal here. [Cool]

I had all 4 gens at one time. A 69 SS396 which I still have, an 80 Z28 needed work,an 83 Z28 HO like new and a 94 Z28 I bought new. I didn't feel like working on the 80Z so I sold it. I didn't enjoy driving the 84Z anymore since I had the 94Z. Sold the 94Z after I got the 02 SS. A guy in our local Camaro club bought the 83Z and the 94Z. So, I get to see them once-in-awhile. Good luck on yours.

We got rid of the horses, so we have a pole barn out back where we can store them. In the next year we are planning on building a shop with a lift, out behind the house.

Sounds great especially grabbing the first
year. But don't underestimate what you'd
be undertaking both in terms of cost and
time. Most restorers will tell you they
can't remember the money they sunk into the
car. Where can you store all of them?
Think of that cost as well if needed.

Not trying to talk you out of anything, just
sometimes things aren't as easy as they sound
and us enthusiasts can make desicions with our
hearts and not our heads.

It would be cool though. Just thinking about what to do with each one is fun in itself.
What color, motor, etc..
