For awhile I have been considering getting a Loudmouth because the CME was a little tame. Since I installed the new headers, cats and Y-pipe I love the sound! It can run in stealth mode or when you want, it roars deep and throaty. I'll wait on the Loudmouth...

Load Mouth and long tubes sounds aweful IMHO. Sounds (no pun intended) like you got a winning set up. Installed while on ramps - impressive.

I did have to get it a bit higher to install the drivers side header. Use a jack and a set of decent sized jack stands. Had to get the header not quite straight up and down, in just the right spot, and it easily went in. Once I put it in, I lowered it back to the ramps to finish the install.

Very nice! [Big Grin] How much ground clearance do you have? Your car has Bilstein suspension, right?

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I have Bilstein's, here's a pic with the clearance. The headers have great clearance. The drivers side pipe and cat hang lower. For the drivers side cat clearance subtract about half the clearance between the can and the header. I would rather replace the cat then the headers (I think).

Thank you so much, Kent!

If anyone has questions please feel free to ask.

I am currently in Michigan for the DreamCruise & Vacation so I'm not checking things regularly. However feel free to call my cell if you would like info. Or, if you're in the metro Detroit area.... I'd be glad to meet you.....

Will you be going to the Bowling Green event? These are most likely going to be my winter project...I'd love to see the setup in person.

How long was the install?

- John

John...(and all),

I just got back from the Woodward DreamCruise in Detroit area.

I wasn't planning on going to the F-Body Gathering. However.... I have had a fair amount of requests on this.

I will do some thinking on this & if I can go.... I'll post it.

BTW - Install is about 10 hours in your garage. Shops that have done the installs before are typically around 5-ish hours.

Gordon
