Well...

After years and years of never purchasing a ford... Keep in mind.. I live 3 miles from the Claycomo plant.. which is one of only two factories in the US that make the F-150... I needed to balance out the stable before things got restless driving in town where everyone is a ford owner [Smile]

I did it.. I sold the Blazer and got....

 -

I kept the Camaro SS for fun days!

 -

and the mitsubishi for natalie...

 -

What a mixture!

Don't laugh - I've been considering a Power
Stroke Diesel Excursion to replace my
Suburban, still in the decision phase!

F150's are great trucks, you can mod them
like crazy as well!

Nice truck JR.

My brother in law was looking at the Didge Rams last year but it wouldn't fit in the garage so he got a Tahoe instead.

I am kind of going the other direction...I have a Ford Ranger as my daily driver and with the baby on the way, I need more room. I am thinking of a Silverado. If that happens, we will have the Tahoe, the SS and a Silverado - an all bowtie garage!

Enjoy the truck! [Cool]

Congrats! Ya gotta do what ya gotta do! [Smile]

There's a very good chance that our Envoy replacement will not be GM either. We're leaning towards a compact hatch or wagon with an adult friendly backseat, sunroof, manual transmission, MP3 player and no roofrack. You'd think the worlds largest manufacturer would have the segment covered. [Frown]

That's why when I took mine out for a test drive, I drove it home and pulled it right into the garage to make sure it fits. [Big Grin] The GMC version (2002) is about a foot longer than the Ford. I new it wouldn't , that was one big factor in the decision making. Plus the fact that my previous Ford truck went 180K with no problems. [Big Grin]

Good Luck with your new Truck, you'll love it. And Thanks for supporting my job. I work @ Visteon, we did your interior. Oh yeah, check out Ford Truck World.

I must admit...I wouldn't mind owning one. It's probably better you park it outside and let Natalie park the Eclipse in the garage anyway.

Hhhhmmmmm........that sounds an awful like one of the products from "Subby". If I recall correctly, GM has an interest in them.

More like a Matrix, Mazda3, Optra5, Focus, Forester or Imprezza. This will be a commuter/grocery getter for us. I can't rationalize a $50K (cdn), 14 mpg, 2+ ton vehicle for that purpose anymore. If GM would confirm the Nomad I'd probably buy the Envoy at the end of the lease and wait, but it doesnt' look like they'll be anywhere near our timeframe.

We do most of our travelling with the Camaro anyway, and maybe someday someone will build a nice affordable convertible that can take over that duty.

My 2500 series Ex Cab, Silverado fits in my garage . . . [Razz]

It's a F O R D, it's not supposed to be garaged . . it's supposed to be found on road . . .

Pick ups are great I love mine, but for the life of me I can't understand why the pickup bed of a Ford 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive F150 has to be HIGHER than my Silverado 3/4 ton 4x4???? It's a bitch getting stuff in the truck bed of my truck and Ford has to make it harder??
