I've never heard of it, but that doesn't mean it didn't exist. If true, it was most likely a "dealer upgrade" or done by some lesser known aftermarket upgrader.
Edit: A quick search on Google returned this article as the first hit. A Toronto-based dealer offered the upgrades.
I remember these cars! Funny thing is that I had always been under the impression that it was only a paint and trim pkg! I never realized until reading the links that these things had some extra substance added to them. Always good to learn something new about classic Camaros!
