Has anyone here modified their plastic top cover to work with the Wolfe 'Vert rollbar? I saw a really good solution the other day at a show that I'll share as soon as the pics are done. I just wondered if anyone else had done it.

Thanks, TJ

I have the same issue with my full rear tonneau covers - the darn things were so expensive that I hate to cut into them and as I removed the back seats I'm looking for a roll bar that attaches for underneath the tonneaus rather than over and through them.

Hi, I've seen your car for the last year on and off. It's pretty close to mine except I've got the auto. Those covers are very cool, but I can't imagine a roll bar working with them without some major hacking. The plastic covers only go to the rear of the seat and so with the wolfevert bars you only have to holesaw two holes in the leading edge of the middle plastic piece to make it work. Here's a couple of pics of a club members car:

How was the install of the Wolfe bar? Did you feel any difference in the body stiffness?

The wolfe wasn't too bad. It's an all day job, though. You pretty much have to assemble the cage outside the car and put it in from the top. The hardest (most tedious...) part is getting the carpet right with the bars in place. Be sure to order the optional swing-out arm for at least the driver's side. I didn't and ended up paying extra to do it later.

I just fitted my tonneau cover to my 4 point cage last weekend. Used a dremel tool to do pretty much what the pics above show.

Turned out pretty nice. [Smile]

Happy driving,
