Ha, funny you say that, i'm actually in the process of installing way larger struts back there. Its very very heavy. I think mecham is stupid for not just making a whole new trunk lid. The installer which was a close friend of mine, use the minimum compound everywhre he could. I really do like the look alot better than the stock though. So I am happy, and there are very few of these on the roads. Total cost will be close to 2 grand after paint for a trunk Mecham charges 100 bucks to ship which i thought was BS. The original plan was to have a light system like the last year firehawks that had lights going all the way across the spoiler. At the time i didn't know a good way to do it. of course i figured out how now
