Hey, everyone. Another one to join the ranks as of this evening. Teri twisted my arm. Ok, no she didn't. I decided that I need a break from the SLP or "neo-cobra post" board.
I surely hope that there isn't a crap load of cobra posts over here saying how great the car is when it's not even out yet. While I enjoy a good discussion of the "competition's" offerings, I get a bit tired of the closet-Mustang lovers inane comments over there.
I just picked up my 02 pewter SS 4/30, and it's everything I expected it to be. And some things I didn't. Like a cop magnet!
Anyway, I'm here, and already recognize some names from the SLP board. Howdy, y'all!

Yeah, what Teri said...it's a nice place to hang out and see what's going on without too much BS. Plus, a rather high percentage of members are great people.
Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I'll try not to violate the rules TOO much, LOL. Seems peaceful over here, thank goodness! Maybe the pewter repels cops, but the rumble of the CME when you get on it doesn't! Although I haven't been stopped yet, I now keep looking in the mirrors......

Black is the color that repels cops. They never see me coming.

Well el ess1 I guess pewter car owners think alike. I just got into SSOA today also and it is nice to see alittle different attitude...so far anyway.
As for cops....I had one follow me about one mile from an intersection where he change lanes to turn and follow me all the way back into my community. As I waited in my driveway for the garage door to open I looked in my rearview mirror to see who had followed me and there was the cop stopped at the end of the driveway watching my garage open up. After the door got halfway up he left. I got a feeling the seven coats of zaino acted like a magnet which drew him in. Glad I was being legal .
