Welcome! What part of Oregon are you in? We have a pretty good size group of SSOA members here in the Portland area.

Welcome, and howdy! We are from the Portland area, and you? Maybe we can all hook up for a drive sometime. We havent done that in awhile, and need to since the weather is getting nice again.

Wow it seems like many of you are from Oregon... Perfect. Looks like I came to the right place. I am located in Hillsboro....
I would definately like to find a couple of people to drive around with... Nothing better than seeing a line of cameros coming down the street. Posts: 22 | From: Oregon | Registered: May 2003

Wow, what a coincidence. We are in Hillsboro, too! Our usual Friday night thing during the summer is to meet at the Bale's Thriftway Market Shopping Center next to the Dairy Queen. It's at the intersection of SW Farmington & Kinnaman Road (near SW 175th Avenue). We usually get there somewhere between 6 - 6:30 p.m. and gather a group of friends together to get dinner somewhere. We'd love to meet you, introduce you to the rest of the local SSOA members, and see your SS. Come on out to the Friday Night Cruise at the end of this week and look for us. We'll most likely be in our Fathom Green '69 RS (below), but if it's really nice, I might bring out my GLDLOX car ('67 6-cyl Convertible). Our SS isn't coming out for awhile. It's got a HUGE rock chip in it from our trip back from B.G. last year, and we don't want it to become a crack across the glass until we find out if a repair is possible without replacing it.

All the more reason to convoy over and pick you up after work so you can join us for ice cream!
Which Ford dealer? If it's on our side of town, we'll SSee ya on Friday.

lol what a sight ... a group of cameros at a Ford dealership. Might not be a good idea though. I am already in hot water for buying a chevy while I was supposed to be working. And to make it even worse I bought it from one of our top competitors. oops. hehe
I could meet up with everyone on a different day.... possible a wed, thurs, or sun. If it was convient for everyone.

A Sunday is a possibility.
Do you drive your SS to work to remind them of the power of the Bowtie? Posts: 7198 | From: Near Portland, Oregon, USA | Registered: Feb 2000
