I am looking to collect COPIES of Camaro Restoration kits (any year).
A restoration kit ("package") simply is a FREE "booklet" available from GM FREE OF CHARGE. Simply call them, give them your VIN number and they will ship it to you ASAP.
It contains a TON of information on your Camaro year. We aren't talking about a tiny 10 page book, we are talking about a 8 1/2 X 11" DOUBLE-sided booklet that can be up to 60 PAGES of info such as engine / tranny combos, colors, materials, stripes, weight, rpo codes, engine SPECS (DETAILED part specs), dimensions (DETAILED), and information that looks like it should be in a repair specs section. Specially, it is full of RPO codes, and original dealer order sheets, dealer brochure(s), and original specifications right down to the weight that each option adds to the front and rear wheels, engine specifications, suspension, transmission specifics, and all sorts of chassis measurements.
Check it out, NOTE: This directory only shows 1 SIDE of the kit, a lot of the kits are DOUBLE-SIDED. So think of DOUBLE the amount you see.
