That interior is not actually the original interior color, I changed it from 719 (blue) to 716 Ivory Houndstooth...also referred to as Pearl Parchment Houndstooth or Dalmation White. I wanted a contrast to the blue paint and I didn't want to go with black.
The Original Paint Code is DD - Grotto Blue but obviously the color is not original either...the blue on it now is Quasar Blue off of a 92 Corvette. I almost regret not painting it the original color. When I got the car it still had the original paint on it...cracked, faded and I didn't like it. Later I saw a fresh Grotto Blue paintjob on another 68 RS/SS and Its a gorgeous color...I had no idea. Still, I love the blue on the car now.
Here is a list of the options it has: A01 - Soft Ray Tinted Windows A67 - Fold Down Rear Seat B37 - Color Keyed Floor Mats C60 - 4 Season Air Conditioning D55 - Center Console G80 - Positraction L48 - 295 HP V8 SS NF2 - Dual Exhaust Deep Tone N33 - Tilt Steering Column N34 - Wood Grained Steering Wheel N40 - Power Steering N44 - Quick Ratio Steering M35 - Powerglide Transmission (now has a TH400 in it though) U03 - Tri-volume Horn U17 - Special Instrumentation U46 - Light Monitoring System, also known as Fiber Optics or Vigilight (my favorite option ) U69 - AM/FM Radio U73 - Manual Rear Antenna *** Which is strange since supposedly you could not get the AM/FM radio with the rear mount antenna from the factory. It may be that the selling dealer changed out the radio. But its definetely an original 1968 Delco Radio. ZJ7 - Rally Wheels Z22 - Rally Sport Z87 - Custom Interior or Deluxe Interior
I've also added the spoilers, it did not come with them. IMO - the spoilers complete the car.
-------------------- 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe RS/SS 350 - Quasar Blue, LOADED and just happens to be my pride and joy. 2002 BMW 540i 6-speed - Jet Black, nicely optioned (Daily Driver) 2000 BMW 323i 5-speed - Titanium Silver, nicely optioned (Wifes car)

Wow, that is really nicely equipped. I like the changes you've made...they don't detract from the car at all, and of course, they're reversible if you ever want to restore it back to original.
The fiber optics are cool. Steve's been looking forever to find a set for his convertible. He spent the better part of 8 or 9 years just looking for a luggage rack.
My '68 Chevelle is supposed to be Grotto Blue, so I know what that looks like. Back in the '70's when my Aunt & Uncle (original owners) had it, they painted it '70 Torino Blue (very similar to Petty Blue). I haven't decided whether to restore back to Grotto Blue or go w/something more contemporary.
I will be changing the Med. Blue interior to something in the White category (I have a set of white, '98 SS seats that would work). The med blue w/nearly the same color on the exterior would be a bit boring.
Even though it's a 307, Steve will be freshening it up and giving it as much of a boost in performance as we can afford. We have an SS hood for it, but I will not put SS badges on it.
I'll be doing an "SS tribute" of sorts. The rear & rocker panels will get painted white, and I'm still on the fence as to whether I'll add a white vinyl top or just go w/a 2-tone paint job (white too).
I have 16' white 30th Anniversary SS wheels waiting to go on in case I don't go w/Rally wheels and police style hub caps (the ones w/the bowtie).

Thanks Chickenman!
As far as $$$$...I added up all my reciepts once (I saved everything)...I wish I hadn't
I paid $3200 for the car 11 years ago. Im the fourth owner...the 2nd and third owners were friends and they kept selling it back and forth to eachother over the years. I got all their paperwork/reciepts/info with the car too. Posts: 700 | From: Fighting the Nazis of the world..... | Registered: Jul 2002
