I have just installed a SLP airbox lid on my 2000 ss and it has gaps on the drivers side and the passenger side of the airbox. I purchased it from LM Performance through the net. I put a K&N air filter in with the lid. My gas mileage had droped by about a mile & 1/2 a gallon is this normal or are the gaps creating this problem. (I thought the gas mileage would go up.
