No problem...did receive your email. Yes, Curtis is leading the group from here. I knew he would be getting the info, just couldn't pass up the opportunity for some good natured ribbing though! (Seems everyone on this board has that good natured attitude about them and is a large reason that this board has become my usual hangout )

Bowling Green is going to be such a great break.. my wife and I haven't been away from our 15 month old daughter since she was born for more than 24 hours.. we won't know what to do with ourselves... well.. nevermind.
Bowling Green .. here we come.. and it will be awesome to have some canadian neighbors with us..

Not to hijack the thread, but on the topic of the nature of people here on the board and in the SSOA....Member Richard Bliss in Boise, ID has generously offered to host us our first night on the road. We even get garage space!
When our garage w/the apartment above is complete, we'll most certainly be able to return the favor.

Yeah.. I haven't heard back from Curtis.. he's ignoring me ...
It sounds like everything is on track.. dinner at Gates BBQ.. then everyone will trek back to my pad.. we will hang out.. get some rest.. and head to B.G. Wednesday morning..

What J.R. listed in his email sounds great. We'll give a call when we're close and nail down an arrival time at Gates BBQ. We're going to be getting up fairly early on Wednesday to get breakfast and head to St. Louis. Our stop at the arch won't be a long one, but is a must-see for us on this trip. If people want to wait for us, that's fine, but we understand if you want to get going on to B.G., too. As J.R. mentioned, it will be a nice break and make the last leg of the journey easier. If all goes well, maybe we can hook up w/some of the St. Louis crowd.

Don't just stop at the arch, ride the elevator up. It's pretty neat. There's a ratchet mechanism to keep the car more of less vertical all the way up!

That's exactly why we're stopping.....a ride to the top and back into the cars for the last leg of the trip into B.G.
We'll be thinking about you along the way....hold down the fort for us at the Friday Night Cruise spot.
