We'll be there around 6-ish Wednesday evening. For all those arriving around then, perhaps after unpacking the cars, etc., we should meet up someplace or in someone's room (informally of course) and kick back with a cold one? Understandably those driving long distances might prefer sleeping in, however. We'll be at the SSOA host hotel, the Best Western. Have no idea what room, however. Whaddya'll think? Ideas? Or scrap the idea altogether?

Good idea!

I'll be leaving Atlanta Wednesday late morning or afternoon myself. Just to get a head start and allow time for the inevitable travel chaos. [Confused] [Confused] [Confused]

We could all pick-up or order dinner in and get the introductions and ice breaking overwith!

How 'bout we make the Best Western the SSOA base since that's where the bulk of our rooms are.
We should be rolling into town by dark, so keep a pull-through spot open for us and the SST.

We can plan to congregate in the parking lot with all the cars around a certain time and then decide on a room or something. Alot of us hung out in the parking lot in the evenings drinking a few beers or whatever last year at the event.

With all that caffeine and sugar in our systems, I don't think a whole lot of sleeping will be going on that weekend. We'll be wired!

Speaking of Code Red Mtn. Dew......our local grocery finally started carrying the Diet version.....I am a happy camper!

I hear that Canadian Mtn. Dew is caffeine free. One story I hears was the manufacturer thought the product wouldn't sell well if it had caffeine.
Can our Canadian friends take a look at the ingredient list and confirm? If it is caffeine free, can one or two of you bring us some 2 liter bottles of caffeine free Code Red in both the sugar and diet versions? I'll fully reimburse you.
I would love to drink Diet Code Red in the evenings and still be able to sleep!
Here's a fun Salute to Soda site.

Any soft drink that doesn't have the name cola in it cannot have caffeine in it. I know for sure Mountain Dew doesn't. [Smile] [Smile]

It has massive amounts of caffeine in the US....that's why I'm trying to talk you guys into helping stock me up w/your version of Code Red (Sugar & Diet types). Whatever you can bring is appreciated! I have American $$ for it, too. [Big Grin]

Why do you think we have to bring the SST? It's to accomodate all of the stuff we're taking home w/us!
