To begin with, Steve and Teri did a great job again of putting the program together, and we owe them a huge thanks for making it so much fun for all of us.
Thanks also to Kevin and everyone else who worked hard on our behalf.
The meet and greet on Thursday was an excellent opportunity to put faces with names and cars.
It was great to see all the old friends and meet new ones.
The folks from Canada were great eh!
Mary has a dark side…….
The number of states looking for Hawkeye appears to be growing....
Last year the cars were mostly stock, this year more cams, paint, etc., why even Kevin dared to put in new gauge faceplate. Over time the “don’t touch it for fear of messing up a good thing” approach fades in favor of adding to the fun?
There is someone who knows everything…….
The group was able to turn the adversity – poSSum’s missing car, etc. into an opportunity – lot’s of “here, you drive mine and I’ll ride with Kevin” going on!
For huge grins – Steve’s car was driven by several of us – still smiling!
The back porch is bigger than you think..extends all the way to the parking lot of the Continental hotel in BG.
Kevin’s top does work!
I took more than 150 pictures – should have them posted in a few days.
I owe John a bottle of touch up!
The SSOA is about the people first and the cars second.
The SSOA is the best group of people of all the clubs.

It was a great time and I finally get to put some faces and "personalities" with the board names.
Here is a link to the pics I took. Some turned out better than others due to lighting, shade and my shaking hands. Anyone that needs pics hosted, let me know. I'll set up an FTP login and password and send it by PM to those that PM me for it. I can also create the HTML file for thumbnails, if you like onto my site and post the link.

What a great time! Home in Texas about 3:00 this afternoon.
Thursday. Great fun. Thanks Teri & Steve for a great planned day.
Friday. My 1st try at Autocross. What a HOOT! Thanks Elie, Steve, Kevin, and all for the coaching and tips. Long way to go but I'm more than a little hooked.
Saturday. 1/4 fun runs at the track. Car didn't perform very well. Best of 12.8 when I expected low 12's. Needs some tuning or something. But still a great time (until I had to clean the rubber off the 1/4 panel). Thanks Tim L.
Sunday another great day hearing marvelous stories from the Fbodfather! Awards, then Rain Rain Rain Rain Rain. And more rain. sheeesh.
Still the best of it all....Continental Inn Parking lot in the evenings, lunches, & dinners. And to my traveling companions Tim & Teri9672, I couldn't have done it without you. Y'all are the BEST!

Yeah I heard that, but bumping and pushing into walls is "the dark side"
I didn't go-cart this year due to the strict warnings and the time out I got last year. I knew I wouldn't be able to contain myself... Thank goodness someone else was able to carry the torch.
