From what I understand we (SSOA) will doing something different on Thursday and the other 2 days we will follow the NCM program. OR will there be some deviations to the posted activites for the SSOA members on Friday and Saturday [Confused] .

Want to register but dont want to have anything conflict.AS an example according to the NCM the road trip ends at 3:30 and the pictures of the participants takes place at 3pm..........Now how can you be in the pics of attendees and be on the road trip at the SAME time [Eek!] . Soundl like great planning.

Ed,
Those scheduling snafus are currently being discussed with the NCM. We thought it was going to be a Friday/Saturday event and were surprised to see the Thursday stuff. I don't know why they scheduled so many things overlapping others, but that has been brought to their attention.

We are going to try to work the SSOA ThurSSday schedule in between the NCM activities and work with the local club on the evening activities.

Feel free to comment on what activities you would like to attend and why the schedule as posted will nor will not work for you. With this feedback, maybe we can get the NCM to adjust a few things to accommodate as many people as possible.

The Drags are a must for me. I just got the Pro Street 79 Z running again, and I will be there running in the 9's. I also enjoyed the BBQ and the banquet. SO should we as SSOA members wait awhile to register until we know whats going on?

If all goes well with the museum and working with Scott's busy schedule too, we hope to have this entire BG schedule revised and out in a week or two. I will post the SSOA schedule, and then the other schedules as soon as we get them all worked out. Hang in there guys! The problem we are having is the museum did NOT go off of last years schedule, they made their own instead, so we are having to start over from scratch AGAIN! [Frown]

The last couple of years had the main event happening over 3 days, with SSOA Thursday making it a 4 day event for us. Is the goal at this point to continue it as a 4 day event for SSOA people (i.e. have an "SSOA Wednesday", or coordinate the SSOA events into the 3 day main event?

Best regardSS,

Elie

My preference is to have an SSOA Wednesday. That way we can have more time to do everything. It won't be so hectic to do things in three days.

We're planning on getting into town on Tuesday evening. We can still informally hang out on Wednesday and fill up the day with things to do. Let's keep talking about it and see what comes together.

Steve and I talked a bit about SSOA Day last night. We're going to work in SSOA ThurSSday activities in between the NCM activities so people don't miss anything.

As far as Wednesday goes, bring your 2-way FRS radios and tune them to channel 3, subchannel 8. When you get into town, find out where fellow SSOA members are by calling us on the radio or cell phone (PM the phone #'s if you don't want to post publicly). We'll most likely be hanging out near the hotel and NCM and will figure out a dinner venue once we get a group together.

I have a few errands to run on Wednesday morning, and will need a few bodies sometime in the middle of the day at the NCM to help assemble packets (if they aren't done already). Other than that, the day should be pretty much open to greeting people as they arrive in town.
