Ummmm...welll.....no.
Think of being at chirpthird.com like being a guest in someone's home.
If it's something you wouldn't show or say in front of your Grandmother, it's probably better left unsaid or kept private. Trillian, found at http://www.ceruleanstudios.com is a great instant messenger.

Understood. Actually, the SLP board people are quite civil and courteous, and my ardvar is very tame. No need for concern. Thanks for letting us into your "crib".

Please leave Bart with the forum that is gone. We're starting fresh here, remember?
This isn't the College party where you get wasted, wear lampshades on your head, and get crazy. It's more like a small get-together where you grab a beverage out of the cooler, pull up a lawn chair and talk about cars in a relaxing setting.
Calm, quiet, peaceful......

But Teri...my avatar has always been Bart over here since I joined more than a year ago. I only recently changed it to the glasses guy, which personally I find more annoying.
Bart is my guy!

Every time I look at Bart's bare butt, all I see is the baggage from the old board.
The sunglasses avatar might be annoying, but it's better than giving everyone a B.A.
If you want to change your image, it's up to you, but I don't have any trouble giving you a little help. I can access GifWorks and I know how to use it.
(Don't forget, you can have an avatar assigned and locked in......just ask Gino........ )
You have a gorgeous '68 and I think you're a great resource for information. I like that you're here to offer technical advice. Why not help us out with keeping this a respectable place?
I think your '68 would make a GREAT avatar and would help everyone else see how serious you are in leaving the negativity "behind" (pun intended).

Thanks for your comments on "being a great resource of information" I very much appreciate it, though I know there are people here with FAR more knowledge than I. I do love to help out when I can.
As far as changing my image...that sort of hurts my feelings...my image here has always been squeeky clean...extremely squeeky clean. I certainly am all for keeping this a respectible place. I've even posted in the "slp is gone" threads..."lets let grudges die with the SLP board".
If this hadn't come up above about me "switching" back to Bart...this conversation probably would never have taken place and I would have switched back sooner or later anyway. Some people love the Bart avatar..some hate it. Noone is ever going to make everyone happy. It wouldn't matter if my avatar was the Pope... I know there are people here who would like to see me and whatever avatar I use dissapear all together.
I'll consider your request...but I have to say, I have grown quite fond of my mooning Bart over the last couple years. Its just humor...and humor is one of my favorite things in life.

Takes one to know one. I like it because it helps us identify everyone when we get together at an event.
Just look for me...I'll be driving a 1:18 scale white car w/red stripes on the front, blue stripes on the rear and SSOA logos on the door. Posts: 7198 | From: Near Portland, Oregon, USA | Registered: Feb 2000

Hey!! I've got a 1:18 scale white SS too...maybe we can run em for pink slips, or maybe (if the spousel units don't mind) we can take them on a cruise through town?
Do you make the super duper LS6 motor noises when you drive yours?
I'm working on my open exhaust C5R motor noises, but I keep getting a sore throat!! Posts: 545 | From: Gardnerville, NV. | Registered: Aug 2003

Let's see, what can i do to break the 500rwhp mark.
at 1/18th that equals 27.7HP...geez that's more than my lawnmower.
Tim, I think the cube if 1/18 would be what you want to use, assuming identical mass density. Posts: 106 | From: St. Augustine, FL. | Registered: Aug 2003
