Hi Folks,

I see that some of the recent transplants have as few as 12 posts and have avatars up - anybody know what the magic number is??

And does chirpthird allow you to upload and host them (like SLP did), or does one have to have a source host? Unless I'm a little dyslexic today, I jsut raed hte [Razz] FAQ's and didn't see anything on avatars.

Thanks in advance,

You'll need a host that allows hotlinking for your avatar. Not sure of the magic #, but it's not many.

I know you're joking around, but I wouldn't make light of that. We have board members who lost their job at SLP and the wounds are still stinging. [Frown] [Frown] All we lost was one free place on the web to post messages. Losing a message board is small stuff in the big scheme of things where many people who are w/out a paycheck and a job right now.

Leave the whole SLP thing behind and move ahead. The more you make reference to it, the more it looks like you're dredging up the past. [Cool]

"Bitter" isn't a good look on you. [Smile]

p.s....I like the sunglasses avatar MUCH better than Bart's butt.

I surely am not bitter...and certainly am not
dredging up the past. Everytime someone posts
"another SLP member here"...now thats dredging
up the past. Not that I have a problem with it,
Its just everyone re-congregating.

Im just trying to welcome fellow members with
a little humor to ease the pain. Im done...no
more welcomes from me. [Wink]

Welcomes are welcome and encouraged. Just leave out the word "fired" and it's all good. [Cool] - [Big Grin]

I know this is touchy...but so far as we know there is one confirmed termination at SLP.

Are there more?

I hope not!
