I am about to install the quad tipped exhaust.. and am having a guy do the paint work for me.. when I go to pick it up painted, I'm going to have him cut my exhaust tips at the appropriate spot, which is back by the muffer.. but PAST it.. my question is.. when driving home.. will I have any problems with exhaust fumes getting in the car while I make the 30 mile trek home? Once I get home I will be installing the exhaust pipe.. but I wanted to verify.

I have the dual tipped, versus the quad, and the exaust is a bit interesting when you are putting the boot over the top (convert.)- However, after the pretty colors go away, you remember that the tone of the exaust, plus the appearence was well worth it..
Also, be careful about standing too closely, it has a tendency to get a bit hot

Mine looks like this: http://slpeng.com/2001camaross/imagea.html Essentially , it is the same thing, just the outlets are different.. I do get downstream of the exhaust when I go into intense breaking- Like the occasional 90degree corner, but other than that, it doesn't intrude much.

You shouldn't have any problems. After I installed Hooker LT's on my car I drove it for 20 miles open header to a speed shop to get the Y-pipe custom made and installed. Keep both windows open if in doubt.

I have a dump before the rear axle and there is no problems with fumes even in heavy traffic.
