Hi, I just purchased a white face gauge overlay and the instructions said refer to owners manaul on removal of the gauge cluster. I don't have the owners manual anymore so does some one have some instructions so I can do this quickly and not by trial and error..

A Chilton's guide will have the info you need, I think there are two screws under the top of the cowl-type thing right above the cluster. Undo those, and, I think it comes right off. I have a 95, which has a different dash, so I may not be able to help. Sorry!

NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! There is no need to mess w/ the airbag when getting to the cluster. The guages you have most likely lay over the originals. The first thing you have to do is take the A-pillar covers off (plastic pieces running on each edge of the windshield). You will then have access to some screws which hold down the top of the dash. Take those screws out, remove the dash. I believe you have to take the drivers side kick panel off as well... don't know, but after removing the dash you will then have access to the screws to take lens out of the guage cluster. Hope this isn't too late.

Here are some pics of my gauges from NRauto. The first two pics are mine with the T/A gauge bezel & the last one is from someone elses without it. The bezel really finishes it & adds a 3D look. I'd definitly recommend getting one.

I got it directly from a Pontiac dealer. They had to order it, but it only took about two days to get. I'll look up the part number for you. It's $36 though the dealer, but only $22 through www.gmpartsdirect.com

Only $222? Dammit, I paid a junkyard $50 and I had to remove it myself! I was told that you had to buy the whole gauge cluster if you wanted a new one!

Sent you a long e-mail with instructions on how to do the install for a 98 or later Camaro. Be sure to get the Firebird lens assembly, you'll be disappointed with the way the Camaro one looks in comparison. And get the Pontiac lens before you start the install, otherwise you'll have to do the job twice--like I did. (However, it's easier the 2nd time.)

Bolide, I was told the same thing as you, but it was as simple as walking into a Pontiac dealer & ordering one. I should have checked for myself in the first place. I agree though, it does make all the difference in the look of the gauges. I wouldn't have one without it.
