I am looking into geting the Lakewood Traction Action LCA kit. Somebody on the SLP board said that they had heard of people having problems with these. Doe's anybody have any thoughts or experience with these LCA's. I haven't set up my sig yet, but if it makes a difference, I have a 2001 SS. Thanks in advance.

Also check on Steve Spohn. They are very good and have many options depending on what you are looking for.

1) stay away from the Lakewood lift bars. They almost killed a guy here in the NW when they COLAPSED around a corner.
2) Is it a daily driver? go with GM's 1LE LCA's.
3) Goto www.camaroz28.com and find the Autocross and Roadracing forum. Do a seach for LCA and you'll understand why.
Tubular LCA's add unnesseasry weight to you suspension and cost $$$ tht you don't need to spend. If you need the functionality of LCA's that can accept rod-ends for racing (and are VERY loud), then go with a G2 or Spohn set-up. If you're prepping the car for drag strip only, and wanta regress the Torque-arm suspension system back to a 4-link (like the archaic Mustang design), then go with the Metco solid-alumium LCA's. Very stout and NO twisting.
I would reccomend LCA reloction brackets for all cars however. $60 from Spohn and goods for 0.1s off your 1/4 mile and helps reduce wheel hop under hard acceleration for the road racers and "spirited" daily drivers.

The METCO LCA's are extremely high quality and are fully bushed. They can be used with or without instant center modification brackets, and the kit includes them. I use them on a daily driver (absolutely no noise), and have also seen guys cut 60' times in the 1.40's with these arms.
