I am new to this board - thanks for having me ... I have a tech ? as follows... please feel free to eamil if you like thanks.
I currently have a 97 SS mechanical bone stock - 3.23 gears, auto I want to change the converter keeping in mind I want to go enventually to 3.73 gearing - which stall would be good - which converters are decent - and will I have to change out anything else as a result of this - is this a fairly easy install (for a PRO) or will there be aftermarket nightmares later down the line ... eglide@attbi.com

if your going with gears id buy nothing higher than a 2800 stall.. if your going to stick with the stock gears.. maybe even a 3300-3500 stall.. yank makes some verry good stall converters
