I want to dynamat my trunk and the lid is definetely the one thing that rattles the most. But on the underside, the plastic piece, does this come off? and if so, how? thanks

it pops off. Gently pull, and it will come off.

Sure. When I pull mine off, I start from the aft most part. Just get your fingers uunder it(it might not be painless) and gently pull. It should come off in sequence. Put on is the reverse.
