I was thinking about upgrading the ignition parts (including plugs and wires) in my 2002. Any thoughts as to what the best combination might be?

I lot of the F-body ownerd like to use NGK spark plugs and MSD 8.5mm wires. Why would you want to change these out on a 2002 Camaro? [Smile]

Most new cars come with plugs and wires that are less than premium. I have always switched out my plugs for NGK or similar upon first buying any car. The performance gains are negligable, but with some of my past cars the fuel economy and idle stability have been drasticaly improved. I am just hoping to gleen some knowledge from experienced SS owners on what they think is the best available. Thanks for any input in advance!

Take a look at Magnecore wires.

T Byrne has them.

Stock wires with AC rapidfire plugs. Are the metal boot covers needed?
