I asked the same thing on the SLP forum but to no avail. Can anyone in here help me out?

I want to bleed the clutch system but I can't figure out how to do it. I can't find the bleeder valve [Confused]

The only thing I've managed to find is the hose coming from the master cylinder... atleast that's what I think it is. It's on the drivers side of the car in front of the transmission, it's steel braided and there is a white plastic ring on the end of it.
Shouldn't the bleeder valve be located somewhere near that hose? Where is the little bugger?

One more thing. How much fluid does it take to flush the whole system?

The bleeder valve is actually sticking out of the bellhousing. If you look where the clutch line goes into the bellhousing, you will see the long clutch bleeder screw sticking out of there as well.

As far as the amount, a pint or two should be PLENTY to flush/bleed it out!

Yer not blind..... you can't see it.

It doesn't stick out. It's above the hose connection & it is flush with the outside of the bellhousing.

The best I've figured out is to use a 1/4" drive socket & ratchet (it's either 11mm or 12mm .. can't remember)... slide it up there & loosen the bleeder.

Use a 2 or 3 foot length of clear vinyl hose 1/2" in diameter (3/8 is a tighter fit but you can't get it on due to the space limitations ...... if you can find 7/16" that may work). Slide the hose over the bleeder.

You can't really use a vacuum gun because the hose does not fit very tight over the bleeder.

You could pump the pedal, but if you do this, you really should open & close the bleeder each time.

If you use pressure..... BE VERY CAREFULL. Too much pressure & you will spray brake fluid from the threads of the bleeder, all over the clutch....ask me how I know this.....

Here's a pic of the bleeder...
