I just bought my 35th LE, 6pd T-top... lookin for some answers.
The lady I bought it from had more money then she knew what to do with.. so when she bought it, and owned it, she had no idea what she had. Luckily I found this car for sale and now that I own it itll be appreciated like it shouldve been from mile #1.
Please bare with me.. I have a bunch of Qs. Any help is greatly appreciated.
1) How do I find my build numbers? 2) Are all 35th LEs 345hp? Or 325? 3) Are all 35th LEs equipt with SLP parts or was it an option? Same Q for Hurst short shifter. 4) The original owner doesnt have the cars window sticker, can Chevrolet reproduce these? 5) Does anyone know, or have, a registry for these 35th LE cars? Im interested to know how many are actually still on the road. 6) Can 35th LE wheels be ordered from Chevrolet? How much? The person before me slightly curbed the right rear wheel. 7) For the brief couple days I was registered on SLP Forums I saw some type of beauty plates for the 35th LEs, for on top of the LID and on the dash.. says "345hp, 350tq, etc.." Where can I get these? 8) Where can I get the skip shift fixing module?
Thanks again in advance.

Hello and congrats on your new ride. 1-you can find the info out on build # by joining SSOA, they will offer documentation including it's SLP build # and its GM build # for LE.Also may get some of your answers by calling SLP in MI. 2-LE's are 325 hp unless it has SLP option exhaust which would be 335 hp and if SLP OEM lid you would have 345 hp. 3-SLP options could have been added, but the 35th option package is GM and Hurst shifter is GM part as well.IF SLP OPTIONS,should be listed on passenger door. 4-I believe a window sticker could be reproduced, maybe someone else can help in this. 5-A registery is suposed to be being worked on, more info in that area should be avail on these boards. 6-35th wheels can be ordered thru GM, but gmbuydirect is cheaper and Pace performance also offers them the cheapest I believe. 7-Keep doing searches of the fbody part companies, there are actually alot of different dash plaques and other dress up items avail out there. 8-Many of the parts places carry the skipshift.
Hope this helps, keep in mind to ask alot of questions and look around, there is alot out there to dress up/build up your car for whatever your taste/style. Al
The car has not been modified at all by the original owner.. however it does have a SLP LID sittin right there when you open the hood. Ill have to check the pass door to see if it has some sort of documentation of SLP exhaust. I have a good feeling this is a 345hp car.
Like I mentioned above.. the owner has a LOT of money and the only thing she could tell me about it was that when she bought it she bought every option. So Im thinkin this one has it all.

AWESOME!!!
If the airlid says "SLP", that's 1/2 of the 345 horse package - so you're up to 335 already!
Already been stated - check the passenger door jamb face for a list of SLP options. If it says center mount exhaust (that's going to be visibly obvious anyway - even if you don't have any idea about SLP options...) or dual/dual exhaust, that's the other half of the 345 horse package.
Original sticker - just about an act of God to get. They come with one from the factory. Period. I don't know about reproduction ones; somebody just posted over on the porch about that - check there.
And since you're new, the first most interesting site you may want to investigate is installuniversity.com . Lot's of interesting items over there. A lot of F-body enthusiasts have their own websites with their own "how-to's" that they pass along. Invaluable.
I'm a refugee from the SLP board so I'm still getting my feet wet here, so I don't know all the names and faces of these folks (except for fellow refugees), but just keep posting and you'll get answers.
Thanks for the advice... Ive bookmarked a lot of usefull sites so far just by exploring a few links from here. Everyone has been very helpfull here.
When I actually take delivery of the car, sometime this week, Ill have to check that door to see what it says. It does, however, have the dual center exhaust so I guess it is a 345hp car.
Good stuff..

Congrats on the new ride. A freindly reminder - NEVER raise the wipers while clean the car. Too many have forgotten them up and then raised the hood to hear the crack of their windshield. Remind the service departments to raise the pads on their lifts and raise the car at the holes for the jack - stay clear of the front fender lips. Ask all the questions you want, we are glad to help. For a copy of the SLP window sticker, call SLP Enigneering at 1-248-288-3066.
Go to http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com to order all kinds of cool extra goodies for your car(including that dash plaque & skip shift you mentioned). Tell them you heard about it from the SSOA on chirpthird.com so they know where you learned of them (they also have a banner advertisement on this site that you can click on). Watch for it to scroll around on the main page of forums.

Congratulations Avengeance on the new car and it does sound like you have a 345hp vehicle. Make sure there isn't a resonator behind the airbox as then it wouldn't be.
