Should I buy the module for it? Where can I find one? I looked on SLP but couldnt find it.

My LS1 buddies are telling me that theres a resistor that you can use to fix it... anyone done that?

Also.. my friend has a hookup with a guy that owns a shop. The owner of the shop has LS1 edit and a "master key" program so he can use it on unlimited cars. My friend thinks he should be able to delete the skip shift with LS1 Edit.

Which method did you use?

Basically it is just a resistor. It places the same load on the circuit the the relay coil would so the computer thinks it's still there.

Some would say just go to Radio Shack and buy the resistor and follow the instructions availble at different websites (sorry I don't have the links).

I bought the SLP mdolue for like $25. I'm a licensed electrical contractor and I've worked on controls and electronics most of my life. I think the module is well worth for this reason:

The module installs in 5 minutes, it look OEM quality and has weather pack connectors with the lock son them. Snap it in and never worry about water getting in or the resistor coming loose.

Yeah you could do it cheaper, but it would be ...cheaper.

The SLP unit is good quality.

I'm sure they stil have them. Call SLP PP and ask them.
