The SLP forum was a nice place to talk about the features and benefits of various mods we often make to our cars. I particularly enjoyed the threads about SFC's. I suppose I will enjoy them here and elsewhere just as much.

I'm here for those questions as well as more such as: So would you be wanting black or red, both are in stock I have done them in white and yellow but those were single sets and that can be pricey.

Covered trailer...well My next product is usually something I want as well. I'll need a tow vehicle then too, its starting to add up now. Most of those things sound like speed shop items Structural Enhancements are all I can handle right now.

subframe connectors....they can be either bolted on or welded on underneath the car and they really tighten up the chassis; they're a MUST for t-tops to get rid of or prevent rattles, etc.

Ok, you asked. I have a 97 convertible. 1) What is the difference in weight between your's and the KB Double Diamonds weld in's. 2) Do you have any proof that yours provide the same or greater structural rigidity.
In asking I am aware of the difficulty of obtaining this type of information and that one must often rely on the reputaion of the builder.

FYI, the Coupes and T-Top[ cars have identical rigidity. The roof of the F-Bodies are composite, the interior of the Soupe has the same cutout pattern as the T-Top. The roof regidity comes from the large center spine in the roof. SFC are great for tying the front and rear of the car together therby stiffening the chassis to twisting motions. SFB's are also a valuable tool for quelling front end shiver.

I would love to have that information and sometimes testimonials are as good as a builders reputation. You are in the correct place for testimonials. There are threads that have been here for quite sometime. I can offer no proof that mine are more or less rigid structurally. They are completely different in design and attaching methods Mine weigh 12 pounds each and were designed to be bolt-on. They also pose some difficulties on LT1 equipped convertibles.
The KB Convertible SFC's were designed to be welded on. Have this done when your not around. Welding steel with cadmium coating gives off quite toxic fumes.
I can go on at length about various pros and cons of different designs and attaching methods. Needless to say both these product do an excellent job in their individual market segments. I still would like to see a set of bolt-on Convertible SFC's that did not incorporate design features found on the ones I make.

Thanks for the straight foreward answers. Having a convertible that already weighs 3621 lb. I'm obviously concerned about adding more weight. Also I'm uncertain about ever removing them, so no real need for bolt on's. Nothing stopping me from welding them in though. Ramble...ramble...decisions...decisions.....

If you are going to drag the car then yes adding weight is often consider not beneficial. Weight transfer is as important as weighing less.
If you would like your Uni-body car to hold together, perform better and be more comfortable this added weight is negligible. Besides we can always add power or less fuel to compensate
The verts start folding up the day they hit the ground. It is my wish that the 5th Gen has a full frame construction. That way we will not have to fix this factory flaw.
I would take a closer look at what you really want from your car before you decide.

Don, I got mine on last night and they are great. They really tightened the car up a lot. I could really tell it on the autobahn hitting the curves at 100+mph. I will find out tomorrow how they do at the drag strip. I am very pleased.

Where can I find details on your SFCs? (tube/box, painted/powder-coated, weld-on/bolt-on, price, etc.)
What are your opinions on tube vs. boxed? weld-on vs. bolt-on? (I have an '02 hardtop.)
Do weld-ons void the factory warranty? I'm thinking probably.
