I need to remove the rear spoiler on the SS and the center supports appear to be glued. Does anyone know if a heat gun will unglue them? And do I need to order new sticky pads or is double sided tape used to put it back together? Oh, does the brake light wiring unplug somewhere?

Thanks

The legs are on with double-sided tape-just use dental floss and work it thru the tape-it'll cut thru it. You'll need to get new ones-don't know if GM has them serviceable. The wiring unplugs inside the deck lid-you'll see it once the spoiler is off.

I tried the dealership for OEM "sticky pads" for the center posts but they do not show a listing for it. I used two pieces of dark gray double sided tape. I think its only purpose is to keep those areas of the lid from scratching.
