I am considering purchasing a long tube header system made by PPC(Proven Performance Concepts) that comes with a Y-pipe and dual cats.
I'd like to know if anyone has installed them on a lowered 4th gen Camaro. I have a 2001 SS that is not yet lowered, and I want to know if I'll have any clearance issues. I emailed their tech support, and he was nice enough to send picures of an installed rig.
Any experience with these?
Thanks in advance,
greg nate

I ordered a set myself but haven't received them yet. One of the pictures I received from PPC showed a drivers side view. It appeared that the headers have more clearance than my existing y-pipe.

These are modeled after the old grotyohan headers and offer excellent clearance. Many have used this design on lowered vehicles with few issues. PPCs cat and y pipe set up look excellent so I think you'll be happy with the choice.
